Jiannanchun International Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. signs with Baosteel that they will cooperate in tactic for the melting iron business on Feb.26.
The contract was signed in Chengdu New convention center. Rongmei Zhang,Deputy Manager of material buying centre of Baosteel, Ping Zhou, stainless steel department, Peixian Qiu, Deputy Manager of Jiannanchun International Economic and Trade Co., Ltd., vice-president Houjun Liu and some financiers and newspaper reporters are took part in the ceremony.
In 2007, Jiannanchun International Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. provided about 40,000 tons of high carbon ferro-chrome to Baosteel. According to the contrast, the two sides will construct a tactic supply train on chromium irons. Three years in future, Jiannanchun International Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. will steadily supply Baosteel for 50,000 ton, 500-600 millions. And the two sides will increase the supply in the future gradually.
Baosteel Co,. Ltd.. Is the biggest and modernist steel group in China. It's prized to be the no.3 comprehensive competitive capability in the world. Rongmei Zhang, Deputy Manager of material buying centre of Baosteel said, they have been manufacturing stainless steel since 2004, and the output will exceed to 1,350,000 ton., from which 450,000 ton are belongs to raw high carbon ferro-chrome. Nearly 50% of raw high carbon ferro-chrome will be purchased in Sichuan province. This contract also means Baosteel will increase purchasing the raw material.
